Yesterday was really stressful... I had a meeting with the county office people from 9 to 11 and a 4:00 closing that the brokers would Not. Stop. Changing. I hate that. Make up your mind people - I faxed your figures to you ten days ago. Any reason some of these changed couldn't have come up in the time between then and the day of closing? Arg.

Curt is leaving for Atlanta today. He will be gone until late on Monday, so I probably won't see him until Tuesday. This sucks.

I GET PAID TODAY! First check at my new job. Yayyyyy! And man, thank GOD because it has been three weeks since I got my severance check and damn. I don't know how people who only get paid once a month do it. I got no budgeting skillz at all, yo.

This weekend should be quiet. Curt gone, Zach is still mad at me, Adam has to work the whole time, Naomi has finals next week, and Mitch and Manesh are on this rotation that begins at 5 am. Maybe I will actually write my law school admission essays? And I need to email my profs too.

So much to do. Too bad all I want to do is crawl back in bed with the boy and hold onto him so he can't leave this weekend. Possessive much? Sheesh. We had a funny chat last night about that actually - his friend Scott just started seeing this girl and is feeling smothered already - she calls him every day, wants to see him all the time, blah blah blah. So I of course worry that I'm smothering curt, because I call him a lot and we see each other almost every day. He assures me that he enjoys being smothered if that is what I'm doing. So yay for that.

This whole compatibility thing is shocking. Shocking, I tell you!
