2003-12-17 3:55 p.m. Today’s earlier entry. La di dah, I am caught up at work. How the heck did that happen? Finally a few minutes to breathe though and write down all this random crap that is in my head. I heard DC talking on the phone earlier today to one of her agents and she cursed. Who curses at their customers? Crazy. Also along the same line, I have been told by the little birds who report on office politics that my position was shopped around the office internally before they looked at hiring an outside person, and that everyone else refused it because DC is so hard to work with. Hmmmm. Still convinced Zach hates me. Bah. I am sick of thinking about it though… I guess any friendship that intense was bound to crash and burn though. It’s just too bad though, because I think Adam feels very caught in the middle. I hope Zach gets his shit together soon and moves back to California so I don’t have to worry about running into him anymore. Is that petty? Probably. I don’t think I care though. Too much BS involved in being friends with that one. I have other stuff I need to concentrate on, like Getting Into Law School and hanging out with Curt. Those especially are more important. Though the care and feeding of my navel lint is also more important than worrying about Zach anymore, truthfully. I am dying for some new cds. New to me, that is. I want mostly old stuff though. First on the list today: Al Green. Oh, lordy, what a great album. Just got off the phone with an agent. He doesn’t understand why he has to comply with the HUD rules for his closing. Um, because if you don’t follow their (extremely anal-retentive) rules they won’t approve my documents and then you don’t HAVE a closing. Sheesh. Successfully wasted an hour! Whoot. Should do some more work now.
