2004-01-20 11:23 a.m. Mmmmm, pizza for breakfast makes me happy. Obviously I have yet to open the S0uth Beach diet book, as I am certain no diet plan exists in the world that advocates eating pizza for breakfast. Except maybe the Jeanne diet, which I would most certainly not recommend to anyone. I don’t feel like working today, not quite sure why. I was super-productive yesterday, because since the banks were closed I didn’t get nearly the number of phone calls I normally get so I actually was getting things done. Go me. While helping Erika plan her honeymoon and wedding the past couple of days, I have decided I want to get married for all the wrong reasons. These reasons include: 1. Jewelery. 2. New dress and lots of flowers. 3. Gifts, especially a KitchenAid and some new silverware. 4. Honeymoon trip. I need a vacation. They do NOT include nice, normal, good reasons for getting married, like having met the person you want to spend the rest of your life with and buy real estate with and make babies with. Well, I may have met them somewhere along the line, but I sure as hell am not ready to marry them, whoever they may be. In the brilliant words of Michelle, I’m not even ready to share a remote control. I certainly am not ready to share my whole LIFE with someone. Last night was not very exciting – home from work, made some dinner with curt, went to pilates, and then crashed on the couch and watched Food Network all night. I really am obsessed with food, truly. In case you haven’t noticed yet. I also filled out my application for UNO (Univ3rsity of Nebrask@ Omaha) so that I can take some classes this summer. I figured if I really think I want to go to law school, I should see if I can make it through an undergrad level business law class. If I don’t like it, I can always take some other stuff – since I am a resident, tuition is cheap cheap cheap for non-degree-seeking students. So maybe I’ll figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life, for real. If nothing else, I’ll learn some new stuff, so either way, I win, right? There’s always the lottery too. Let’s not forget that option.
