2004-03-08 9:30 a.m. Ah, weird computer issues and no coffee. Happy Monday to me. I have a HotPocket thing for breakfast though, I guess that helps. I am such a terrible updater. Last week was really hectic though – since the company got bought out there are tons of meetings and all kinds of stuff to get the clients moved to the new company. Since I am brand new working here and don’t know what the hell I am doing anyway, this is just making things that much more interesting. I guess I’ll probably catch on eventually though. Last week in summary: Monday: Work. Gym (3.2 miles). Over to Curt’s. Salad with scallops and citrus/vinaigrette dressing (recipe here). Sleep. Tuesday: Work. Gym (4 miles). Home. Mac & cheese. Over to Curt’s. Sleep. Wednesday: Work. Over to Curt’s. Dinner at the Br@zenhead. Had three beers with dinner and then we both passed out at like, 9:30. Thursday: Work. (Do you see a pattern developing here?). Gym (4.5 miles). Over to Curt’s. Scott (his friend from out of town) made dinner – salmon piccata, wild rice, spinach. Yum. Watched Eddie Izz@rd. Sleep. Friday: Work. Gym (4 miles). To the Dundee D3ll for a drink. Burger for dinner. Old Dund33 for another couple of drinks. Show at the 49er. Back to Curt’s. Sleep. Saturday: Wake up at 7 am. Debate buying a house with the boyfriend. This decision is still up in the air. Breakfast at diner. Shopping with my sister – got some new running stuff, sports bras and shorts because all I had were yoga pants. Went running (1.5 miles) and it was really hard because I was outside and it was very windy. Dinner with mitch and Naomi. Home. Sleep. Sunday: Up at 8:30, yuck. Putzed around, made some coffee, read the paper. Went to an 11:30 yoga class which absolutely killed me. Went to a scotch tasting at 4:00 which was awesome. One of them was called "Ardbeg", but you don't pronounce the 'd', so it sounds like a pirate word. Arrrrrrbeg. Hee! Watched Sopranos with Mitch and Naomi. Over to Curt’s. Sleep. And now here it is Monday and guess where I am? You’ll never figure it out. Scott is leaving today. We’ve had fun and I know Curt was glad to see him but I am tired of having houseguests. It makes our weekends so hectic and breaks from my routine, which I don’t like. I am very much a creature of habit, you know? Today, I will hopefully make it to the gym again so I can loosen up my poor stiff muscles.
