2004-03-10 11:05 a.m. Another day at work. I’m printing client histories which is mucho boring but necessary for once we finish moving everyone over. Whee. Plus it’s annoying because they have to go on big paper, and the printers are set up in such a stupid way so as in order to print on big paper, you have to manually feed it into the machine. You can imagine how much fun this is going to be as I probably will have over 700 pages worth of stuff to print. Which probably means I should be working instead of updating. But I want to update, dammit! I have a weird cold. It’s making me all sneezy and I’m coughing up a lung, but other than that I feel fine. I thought it might be allergies but the Claritin I took last night did nothing at all, so I guess I’m stuck. Two oranges, one banana, and 12 ounces of OJ later I should be well-vitamined so hopefully it will go away soon. Why is it that last year I smoked like a chimney, didn’t sleep hardly at all, and never worked out and I only had one cold all winter? This year I am taking so much better care of myself and yet I’ve been sick off and on since November! What the hell? Erika has given me a bunch of fashion advice and so now I can get a work-appropriate wardrobe. Thanks to Erika. My khakis and t-shirt thing is just not going to work anymore here. Yesterday the boyfriend and I took a long walk together and talked about a lot of apartment stuff – it was good. We are going to rent the smallest, cheapest place we can stand to live in and then save money so we can jump on the house-buying bandwagon next year. Crazy. Then again, am I crazy to be talking about this with someone I’ve only been dating six months? Everything just feels so… right. I don’t know. So yeah, the apartment search begins. Should be interesting. At least finding places in our ‘chosen neighborhoods’ shouldn’t be too difficult – we saw at least five buildings with for rent signs outside them yesterday on our walk.
