Five days. Ack.

Today I can say I love the IRS. Because I went to their office on my lunch and they printed off the documents I needed and now we don’t have to reschedule our closing. I don’t think.

This house buying crap is way stressful.

In light of the realization that I may not be updating very often in the next few days, I offer you my schedule as an excuse:

Today, May 12: Work 8 to 5. Banquet for my sister to get some award tonight at 6:30. Pack afterwards.

Thursday May 13: Work 8 to 5. See boyfriend before 7 pm for the first time all week.

Friday May 14: Work 8 to 4. Hang out with mitch and Naomi. Pack.

Saturday May 15: Find curt a dress shirt to wear to a wedding in evening. Work 1:30 to 9:45.

Sunday May 16: Work 11:30 to 8. Walk through house to make sure the prior owners haven’t cut giant holes in the floor or something. Watch sopranos. Pack.

Monday May 17: Closing at 10:00 am. Buy cleaning products and paint. Proceed to house. Clean hardwood floors in bedrooms and varnish. Scrub bathroom and kitchen.

Tuesday May 18: Work 8 to 5. Strip wallpaper in kitchen.

Wednesday May 19: Work 8 to 5. Move some kitchen stuff in. Paint entryway. Paint our bedroom.

Thursday May 20: Work 8 to 5. Sister’s graduation at 7:30.

Friday May 21: Work 8 to 4. Paint office. Start moving the stuff in.

Saturday May 22: Move more stuff. Sister’s graduation party from 4 to 8 pm.

Sunday May 23: Probably our first night at the new place. Probably have to work at tarjay, so who knows if I’ll get anything else done.
