I have gotten very terrible about updating, but the big job shakedown keeps me from wanting to do anything remotely personal at work, so there you have it. Not that you should do personal stuff at work. Personal stuff bad. Work is life.

Anyway.

Days mick is out of the office: 1.5

So I guess that isn't all that bad, eh? I still want a new job though.

Had lunch with my old old old boss on Friday, and that went well. Debating calling my old boss also, but I feel bad. Like, I only worked for you for three months and totally quit, but I made a mistake and will you take me back? Oy. Not sure if I can do that.

Target is seeming amazingly pleasant though, I think due to tension at my "real" job. That's nice. Though I spent my entire weekend there and am so, so tired. I'm trying to con one of the high school students into working for me next Saturday and maybe sunday too, so i can have a bit of a break.

Happy birthday to my girl Naomi. She's 25 today! I have... just over a month then until I'm 25 also. Wierd. I seriously can't believe I'm 25 and own a house and have a full-time job and stuff. Like, I thought I was 11 still. Where did the time go? Wild.

Oh well you couldn't pay me to be 11 again, so I guess I'll stay at mid-twenties.

You know what else makes me feel wierdly old? The fact that my sister is at her college orientation this week. I remember mine very well, and it was summer of 1997 so that makes it... 7 years ago. Aieeee! It is seven years since I graduated from high school. I totally thought I'd be doing something useful by now.

Oh well something tolerable would be ok. Because really, all i want to do anymore is go home and play with curt and the house. Where has my ambition gone, I wonder?

Have been thinking about law school again lately. Not sure why. But if the boyfriend gets an expected promotion/raise, it might be a real possibility. Hm. I think that's a whole other entry.

Which hopefully will not take me five days to produce. Sorry guys.
